Guest Designer At Scrapbooker’s Paradise

i’m excited to be the guest designer this week at the playing in paradise challenge, which is to take your inspiration from this photo:

under the sea photo
card with an under the sea theme
i used the colours and theme to create this card for my husband for father’s day. the shells were stamped, coloured with distress inks, cut and popped on foam tape. the sea is painted with distress inks, which was covered on the bottom with embossing powder and enamel. finally, i added some cheesecloth, twine and a flourishes sentiment and tag. you’ll want to check out the inspiring DT creations at the scrapbooker’s paradise blog and i hope you can play along. thanks for popping by.

  4. So cute. It’s fantastic. The shimmery stuff looks really neat, and I like the little Hugs tag.

  5. I love this card. Soft ocean colours and the cheesecloth makes a great net! I could see this card framed and hanging in my sister’s sea-themed bathroom!

  6. This rocks my world in every way! Love the design, the stamps and the net/sandy bottom! What a way to create! Thanks for playing at Scrapbooker’s Paradise!
