christmas card with snow woman in red, green and orange with a cardinal and happy freezin season sentiment
i am so excited to be a guest star with the jingle belles for the current prompt – thank you lauren and stephanie; they welcome ideas for prompts so i submitted my idea of HO HO H2O, based on my LOVE of colouring with water based products. so, for the next two weeks participants will be challenged to “create a card which features icicles, snow, frozen ponds, or any water-related image; OR use water-based products on your project, such as watercolors, water-based markers or sprays, etc.”  i coloured this snow woman with a paintbrush and both distress ink pads and letraset aqua markers and added stickles to her snowflake hair, which i love. i hope you’ll play along too and as always, thanks for popping by.

  1. Soooo cute, colourful and Christmassy! I like the multicoloured scarf, and the striped paper that looks like wrapping paper or candy canes. :)

  2. Hi Linda. Now this is exactly what I’m talkin’ about, girl! It’s absolutely beyond precious! Congrats on this great announcement. I can see why you’re excited ~ I would be too! Hugs

  3. Once again, you’ve got a beautiful card. I’ll have to check this challenge out & maybe I can join. I am in even more awe of your skill with the DI & w/c – after having tried to do it. You’ve got that shading done perfectly & so smoothly. And Congrats on being the guest star….you certainly ARE a star! TFS
