welcome to my newest follower and thank you for taking an interest in what i do! i created this card for the impression obsession challenge of shades of green. i don’t usually put sentiments on the fronts of my cards – they’re crooked (stamp positioner won’t work with curved blocks), they smudge because of my hands and uneven pressure or they just don’t fit in. this impression obsession stamp, #C8559, is so pretty that i wanted it to be the focal point. after i die cut the flowers, i sponged the edges with shabby shutters distress ink and added some stickles and punched leaves. thanks for popping by.

This is so pretty, Ms. Linda. I love green and the dsp you used is wonderful. what a perfect balance between different elements found in nature. Like your sentiment too.
Ooh so pretty and elegant. This is a lovely card and the shade of green is so delicate. xxx
So elegant and pretty! Lovely card, Linda!
Beautiful Linda, I love how you’ve highlighted the quote and your green background is elegant. I didn’t get it together for this challenge, hopefully the next one ! Shirleyx
This is auch a retty card…very subtle and lovely. That bit of shading and stickles just finished it off nicely!
Beautiful Linda…love that sentiment and your flowers are so pretty.
This is so very beautiful! I just got the I.O. Cover a Card stamp Shamrocks at the recent stamp show. That stamp would make such a lovely card in the way you have done here…with that soft delicate green. I have a couple St. Pat’s cards I must do. Your flowers are so pretty & are perfect with your sentiment. TFS
So pretty, and makes me think of Springtime!
Talk about lovely, Linda@!!!! Wow! I love everything you did for your beautiful sentiment!!! The whole card looks pretty perfect to me! Thanks for playing and good luck in the drawing too!
Soft, gorgeous card! Love that stamp–onto my wishlist!
Is the background a stamp? If so, I’d love to know which one.
hi greta, it’s not a background stamp; it’s an older piece of DP by NRN Designs – they went out of business.
Beautiful green card! I love your oval window and your flowers are beautiful, love the sparkle. A very elegant card! Thanks for sharing.
