House of Cards March 2016

it’s the first of the month and time for a fun new theme at the house of cards: the cue word is silhouette and it’s up to you to interpret it any way you want! let’s see how you use silhouette stamps, dies, the machine, etc.

for my first card, i cut the memory box fresh foliage die from black glossy card stock, attached double sided tape to the back and brushed on some cosmic shimmer egyptian gold gilding flakes. the elizabeth craft sentiment was die cut and watercoloured with twinkling H2Os.

my second card uses the black glossy die cut leaves placed on an angle at the top; i also used the black glossy paper for the wplus9 hello die and the border strip.

be sure to check out the blog for links to all the design team members’ beautiful projects. i hope you’ll come and play along!

thanks for popping by.

  1. Linda this is a perfect way of using the negative space sihouette for this card and howe you used the cut outs for a second card is just very smart… No leftovers. Love both your cards.
So fun to see all you girls creations and howe diffrent they are on the same theme.
