this is another scheduled post as i’m still dealing with a family member’s illness and might be for some time. i love this image; it depicts what i wish i had more time and energy to do.

as usual, i watercoloured with twinkling H2Os and added white flocking to her slippers; all the supplies are from buddly crafts and are listed below.

Cupcake Card And Tag

it’s the first of the month so it’s time for a new theme at the house of cards challenge and this month we’d like you to shape up – create a card that is not square or rectangle.

wishing you the best of everything for the new year! i don’t remember ever making a new year’s card before but while i was designing cards for buddly crafts, i found some hidden gold glitter paper and thought it would coordinate perfectly with the image.

the glasses from the Love is in the Air clear stamp set were stamped in gold ink, coloured with my favourite Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolour Pencils and i added the die cut gold glitter border and numbers.

Free Colouring Cards For Kids

Kim MacFarlane, illustrator and owner of Buddly Crafts has created some really cute and FREE snap cards for kids in a Craft Supplies for Kids section of the online shop.

i have another birthday card to share that i designed for Buddly Crafts using one of the cute images from the clear stamp set Little Poppets Birthday.

as usual, i watercoloured with twinkling H2Os, used my favourite banner die to add the stamped candles at the top and added glass effect gel to the icing on the cake; the papers are Kim’s Digi Papers – A Patchwork of Papers – Plum.

Especially For You

i designed today’s creation for Buddly Crafts using one of the smaller images from the clear stamp set Rose Garden – they’re perfect for creating backgrounds or using on tags like this.

i used the Marianne Design Decorative Tags, stamped, watercoloured with twinkling H2Os, and sponged the edges with distress inks. i also had some fun splattering and i finished it off with a sheer striped pink bow and some twine.

i’m submitting this to kathy’s 30 day colouring challenge – day 30. this challenge was just what i needed this month; something to focus on and stay motivated to colour and create. i may have coloured everyday but i couldn’t share some of my DT projects yet.

I stamped the bone from the same set on kraft and watercoloured with twinkling H2Os and watercolour pencils. the Marianne Design Bird & Fence were die cut, popped on foam tape and the bird was also watercoloured with twinkling H2Os.

Birthday Greetings

i designed this card for cuddly buddly and this cute little dog from the Birthday Wishes clear stamp set was just so much fun to colour; i used twinkling H2Os. i love that the set includes numbers to stamp in the today circle, plus there are two sentiments and an adorable teddy image.
