i was fortunate to have been published twice last year in designed to color magazine, which is celebrating its first birthday with challenges and prizes. i made this card for their tic tac toe Crafty Challenge and i chose balloon, banner and aqua plus this cute penny black mouse image – coloured with distress inks as usual, along with plenty of stickles. thanks for popping by.

Published Card In Designed To Color

i am excited to share that i am lucky to have another of my cards published in Designed To Color; this one is in the June/July 2012 issue, which i submitted to the masculine card category. this molly blooms image was coloured with distress inks. follow the link to check out the current challenge and call for the october/november issue. thanks for popping by.
How I Roll

i made this for the first challenge at designed to color and it was very challenging! the april/may DTC issue has an article on rolled flowers and i really love how dimensional they look – but with my hands, one was enough. lol. i cut the circle by myself and attached it to a punched flower, coloured with distress ink pads, added glossy accents to the buttons and stickles to all the dots. thanks for popping by.
Designed To Color Published Card
two weeks ago i mentioned designed to color – a new magazine for those of us who love to colour. i am very lucky that one of my cards was published in the april/may issue and i am now able to share the card i created for the april showers theme – i used stamps from the ‘april showers’ flourishes clear set and coloured and sponged with distress inks. thanks for popping by.
