i was inspired by the Essentials by Ellen January Pin-Sights Challenge to create a birthday card for my husband.

the black in three of the photos really stood out for me, especially the gold lettering on black but i also love the pop of yellow next to the blue on the desk. i used stamps from the ‘ALL INSIDE BY JULIE EBERSOLE‘ clear set and heat embossed with wow embossing powder; then i painted a wash of twinkling H2Os for the background, painted in the outline hearts and filled the outline upper case words with a black marker.
