this month’s stampalot challenge was very challenging, but i think i got it right; if not, it was fun trying. i created this wall hanging by diagonally cutting the 6 x 6 inch paper down to 4.75 inches, gathered the lace and attached it to the punchout sentiment, which already had its own frame. finally, i added gold cord, bow and green gems. thanks for popping by.

Ms. Linda, this is just lovely. Delicate and warm are the essence here. You did a wonderful job with the lace. I’ve always stayed away from that because I knew I could never do it correctly. Obviously, you had no issues with it. This is a beautiful wall hanging. I see Marie above would love to have you teach this techique at a class. hint, hint, hint. She’s absolutey right; it would.

Very pretty. It would be nice as a gift to someone who is bereaved. The sentiment has that feeling to it, and it’s delicate and colourful to add some cheer.
