thank you to my new followers! it’s encouraging to know that people are interested in what i’m creating.
steph, the inspiration challenge hostess at splitcoaststampers finds the most amazing sites and this week i found this beautiful artwork. so, for the first time, i played with gesso – fun. i used tim holtz paper distress collection core’dination for the card base; i love this stuff and can’t resist sanding it to reveal the core. thanks for popping by.
Nice! It has many different elements to it, so it keeps the eye busy exploring. The paper you sanded looks like a canvas that’s been lightly painted with green.
This would make a good ‘masculine’ card.
Beautiful card! It does look like canvas…fabulous job!
I agree w/Lianne, Linda. I think your coordinations paper does look like canvas. It’s a very versatile paper I see. Your image speaks to wonderful calmness and beauty. Lovely card my friend.
Ooh EXCITING . . . I just bought some gesso and was needing some inspiration!
Terrific card. I love it.
Hugs, Sandra
Lovely CAS card Linda. I’m going to have to try the sanding of the paper – love the way yours looks.
