Rudolph Day In January

forever friends teddy with a bird perched on its mug in the snowit’s the first rudolph day for 2012! for the past couple of months, i’ve joined my friend sandra on the 25th of every month to make a christmas card(s). i’ve been seeing some adorable forever friends bear cards, so i inked up this neglected stamp and coloured it with distress inks. i’m submitting it to these challenges:

gingerloft challenge – let it snow
house of gilli – winter
crafty bloggers network – distressing
card crafter’s circle – bears
heidi’s hobbystugga – winter with shades of blue

  1. I love the idea of Rudolph Day! What a fabulous way to start them off with this card… its adorable! I love those patterned papers! Thanks for sharing with us at the Card Crafter’s Circle!

  2. Well, just look at this! Isnt he just the sweestest? I love your coloring on this adorable image, Linda. Love all the snow ‘stuff’ going on all around him, too. Hugs, Anne

  3. Wow, you are still – or already – doing Christmas style cards – this little guy is so adorable, its no wonder that you don’t use him ALL the time!! What a delightful pairing of the DP – to make this a warm inviting scene!!

  4. Hello Linda, rather slow getting here but wanted to thank you for your support over the ‘little incident’ I posted about on Monday. It’s still being dealt with but I hope to report some positive news soon.

I didn’t know you have experienced a similar issue and so shocked to hear that some people were less than gracious about it, making them not much better that the art thief’s.

It’s all so unpleasant and totally unacceptable, the whole point of crafting is to enjoy and take pleasure in what you create and I shall never understand what the thief’s actually gain from it apart from a heavy weight on their shoulders.

Moving on to your lovely work, I am totally blown away by the card in the post below (not that this one is not also lovely) but you know me and flowers. The whole composition of the card is delightful.

    B x
