Inspired By Wedgwood

blue and white christmas card with snowman
i have an aunt who loves snowmen as much as i do, so when i saw stephanie’s sketch at the jingle belles challenge i knew i’d be checking off one more card from my list this year. i coloured my favourite snowman with distress inks and sponged with blue because my aunt loves wedgwood china. i’m also submitting this card to these challenges:

creative inspirations paint – inspired by monochromatic with a chance to win 5 jars of their paint
stampin’ for the weekend – monochromatic theme with a prize of a Simon Says Stamps voucher of $25
samuel taylor’s blue and white christmas card – there’s a fantastic prize of goodies, including a Marianne Designs Sleigh die

thanks for popping by.

  1. I love the tiny little bits of snow in the air … I have an entire drawer of snowmen images, so I too love them very much … so very glad you joined us at jingle belles.

  2. oh ♥WOW♥ this one is really a STUNNER, i think i am quite envious of your aunt!!! i LOVE the stamp, you’ve colored him (or her?!) perfectly, and i ADORE those little embossed “snowflakes” all around him (or her!) :) then you’ve got the PERFECT papers and i loooooove how you’ve spaced the panels… i just love every single thing about this! ♥

  3. Your card is so lovely! Do you know who makes the snowman stamp? He is so cute and simple. Thanks, Melissa
