welcome to a new follower! since my daughter rescued two bunnies a couple of years ago, i’ve come to realize just how smart these adorable little creatures are, but i’ve also learned they can be very fragile and need a lot of attention. unfortunately for some bunnies, especially at easter, they’re adopted into homes where little is known about their requirements and they suffer as a result. i made this in support of the make mine chocolate! campaign, dedicated to combating the impulse buying of bunnies and educating the public.
i’m submitting this card to these challenges:
cheery lynn designs – spring (i missed last week’s easter challenge, but bunnies can be spring themed too, right?)
die cuttin divas – use a bunny
charisma cards challenges!!! – die cuts
cute card thursday – easter parade
little red wagon – easter
the ribbon carousel – spring is in the air
thanks for popping by.
Oh that is just the sweetest thing. Adorable, heartfelt, and perfect for spring and Easter.
You are so right about the cute little bunnies which grow up & need to be cared for by folks who lose interest once it’s no longer a little bunny. This is an adorable card, and the checked paper background looks very springlike behind your little brown bunny. I hope you can raise awareness of the thought processes needed before taking on a new little Easter bunny! TFS
Eggcellent card Linda (sorry, couldn’t resist it).

Very pretty, espeically the soft colors of the background papers. Thanks for joining us this week at Die Cuttin’ Divas for our bunny challenge. Hope you will come back again.

Ms Linda, I have to say this is probably one of the most creative Easter cards I’ve seen! It’s positively wonderful and beyond the creativity level of many of us. I am always saddened to learn that any animal can be an impulse decision. I’m delighted to know we’re both conscious of the benefits of educating the consumer. Your card is just great, my friend.
Love this sweet card… especially the pattern on your chocolate bunny. Thanks for playing with Die Cuttin Divas
I like your design simple and clean. Original shape. Beautiful papers. Bravo ! It’s very successful !
Thanks for joining us at Charisma Cardz this week.

Haha, that’s a great card!
The papers & details are perfect!
I’m with you on animal impulse buying.
There needs to be some thought, and who’s looking after them!
Great ‘chocolate’ bunny on a beautiful Easter card!
Really cute card!! I love the grass and that cute bunny! I went to the website you mentioned. And I wanted to thank you for your input on scissors! I will have to see if my stamp shop can order them. They carry the friskars brand instead…they look a little different. Hope you are having a good weekend.

Adorable card Linda – I LOVE that bunny and the designer paper is so pretty. Great that you can help bring awareness of bunnies being adopted without their owners knowing how to care for them.

That’s such a pretty card, and for such a good cause. All so true at this time of year about buying bunnies. Thanks for sharing this at the DCD challenge.

Love this! Gorgeous design and beautifully done. Thanks for joining us this week over at LRW.
This is so adorable! I love the bit of versamark look to the pattern on the bunny…he really does look like chocolate!
Great card.
Your Easter card is glorious Linda, so bright and cheerful. I am so sorry I missed it earlier, I just don’t seem to be able to get reminders when you post and afraid I so often forget to check.
