Rudolph Day April 2013

copyright linda @ snail's space and described here for people with disabilities; christmas card with snowman portrait and a red merry christmas sentiment on a white snowflake embossed card base
i haven’t had much time for card making lately so it was fun to create this card for my friend sandra’s rudolph day challenge to work on those christmas cards every 25th of the month. marie, the owner of papercraft cafe, taught me the burnished velvet technique with ritz glitter and this is the first time i used watercolour pencils to colour the glitter. i coloured the silver peel off sentiment with a red permanent marker, embossed the white glitter paper with the snowflake embossing folder and i was done, just in time to meet today’s deadline.

i’m submitting this to the moxie fab world watercolor challenge. thanks for popping by.

  1. This is so lovely. Isn’t that burnished glitter technique just the greatest? I enjoy it so much. Great job on this one, and the background is way too cool with this image. TFS

  2. Hey Linda! Thanks for linking this up to the Wonder of Watercolor Challenge in the Moxie Fab World! I’m so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
