i’m excited about a brand new weekly challenge called 101: watercolor :102 that will focus on watercolor techniques with weekly assignments so you can practice and submit your outcome.
although i watercolour my images, i don’t always use the techniques, so this week’s assignment to use salt was a refreshing change; i sprinkled fairly coarse sea salt on my wash of three different twinkling H2O greens, let it dry and then die cut the leaves with a memory box die. unfortunately, i need a sympathy card so i used a sentiment from an impression obsession clear stamp set. thanks for popping by.

That’s lovely! Nice background too. Very cute as a cut out. You’ve got a step up on me….the next challenge/lesson is to use your new salt skill and create an embellishment with it. Good girl!
