i did it! i finally created a tag for Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2014 Challenge! i’ve been in awe of the creative talent of those designers showcasing their tags and my past efforts were all bin-worthy. but, i was determined to participate this year and i really stepped outside my comfort zone and managed to produce something worth keeping – ok, giving, since it’s for someone special.
i was inspired by the Day 4 tag by Kelly Alvarez; i love the colours and the sponged pink background, but since i love my twinkling H20s and painting watercolour washes, that’s how i created mine.
i’d also like to submit this to these challenges:
Poppystamps Challenge #3 – Sparkle & Shine: you can never see the shimmer in the photo, but i water coloured poppy stamps rudolph and the pink background with twinkling H2Os as usual and added plenty of stickles for snow. i cut up individual branches of poppy stamps berry sprig die and attached to the turquoise base.

I can’t believe I missed this card, linda. This must have happened when I crashed my laptop. I can’ believe how soft and adorable this is, too. only you, Linda, can create cards that are this outstanding.
