Jingle Bell

i’ve not been well, the usual RA symptoms, but i really needed to create something. the jingle belles’ current prompt is to make shaped christmas cards, so i drew a bell and decorated it with designer paper, holly and a poinsettia, all edged with gold ink and finished off with a bow. the fold is at the top, but i really like lauren’s idea of ‘post card’ style cards and might do that next time. jinglebell thanks for popping by.

  1. Beautiful shape for a card, and loving that holly paper. Hope your RA symptoms soon subside and you feel much better, real soon. TFS

  2. Lovely, Ms. Linda. I saw that challenge but I don’t know how to create anything other than square cards. Your paper is delicate enough to fit this bell so well. Not only that, but your punched poinsettia and ribbon are absolutely the icing on the cake. Feel better soon. Hugs

  3. I hope you are much better already – and get in the mood for more cards because this one is just lovely! I fnd bells hard to work with but you did a great job!

  4. oh my gosh, what a great card! i looooooooove your bell design, and you’ve chosen just the right paper and embellishments! plus… that awesome BOW!!! :) so pleased you were able to “shape up for the holidays” with us at JINGLE BELLES! <3 (ps: sorry to hear the ra is up to its shenanigans; hope you'll be feeling better soon!)

  5. A bell for the Belles … doesn’t get much better than that … hope you’re feeling better soon, but so glad you took some time to shape-up with us at jingle belles.
