House Of Cards November – Technique Challenge

it’s time for a new monthly challenge at the House of Cards Challenge and it’s a technique for you to try this time. you can watch a video over at the blog by challenge owner mynn to see how she’s made this pretty card:

Technique Challenge: Stamped Punch Window

Serena closer

and here’s my card:

COPYRIGHT LINDA @ SNAILZPACE.WORDPRESS.COM. house of cards window card

i used a sizzix die to create my window and frame and the only stamping on this card is the impression obsession sentiment. i watercoloured clear resist watercolour paper with twinkling H2Os and attached the panel with foam tape.

be sure to visit the blog for other tutorials throughout the month and some more inspiration by the rest of the design team.

thanks for popping by.

edited: the paper pad i used is Cosmo Cricket’s Just Add Watercolour pad – from their website it’s “Printed watercolor paper features clear and gold foil resist that comes to life as watercolor is added.”

  1. Very pretty colours! The die is so pretty, too. I like the sentiment in the window; it adds dimension.

  2. Very clever use of the paper…could have fooled me into thinking it was a stamp! Very pretty colors!

  3. This card is so so pretty. Love the colours you used. Did you mean you embossed the paper first or you can buy pre embossed paper. Its just so pretty nd the colours you chose are just perfect for it. Love it so much.

  4. Such a pretty card using that dsp! Leave it to you to find something as great as that paper. Love your simple sentiment. It really showcases the paper and window. Lovely card.

  5. I really love your soft color and that window on your card is sweet
