Sunshine Wanted

well i’m very slowly making my way to my craft room while i’m recuperating and getting used to my christmas present – a new knee. my surgeon and physiotherapist are both quite pleased with my progress, but i admit i’m getting a little impatient with my recovery. and these gloomy days do nothing for my mood!

anyway, i managed to create a quick and easy CAS card for ellen hutson’s mix it up challenge.

i stamped the ellen hutson ‘all inside’ by Julie sentiments with my precision press and die cut the avery elle sun icon (couldn’t find a link; maybe retired) from fun foam to stamp it. the lettering was coloured with faber castell albrecht durer watercolour pencils and wink of stella clear pen. finally, i added some yellow stickles to the sun.

thanks for popping by.

  1. Yes, we need more sunshine! Sorry you’re getting impatient and restless. Big hugs!
    Cute and cheery card!

  2. I hope you are soon feeling better! Lovely card and yes, it seems sometimes we have to make our own sunshine. Rehab is pretty daunting. Take care! Hugs!

  3. This is a perfectly themed card to what is going on in your life at the moment. It must be daunting to recover from knee surgery!
I wish you a speedy return to use of your knee…in an painfree timeframe as possible!

    hugs
    Maureen
