well i’m very slowly making my way to my craft room while i’m recuperating and getting used to my christmas present – a new knee. my surgeon and physiotherapist are both quite pleased with my progress, but i admit i’m getting a little impatient with my recovery. and these gloomy days do nothing for my mood!
anyway, i managed to create a quick and easy CAS card for ellen hutson’s mix it up challenge.
i stamped the ellen hutson ‘all inside’ by Julie sentiments with my precision press and die cut the avery elle sun icon (couldn’t find a link; maybe retired) from fun foam to stamp it. the lettering was coloured with faber castell albrecht durer watercolour pencils and wink of stella clear pen. finally, i added some yellow stickles to the sun.
thanks for popping by.
Yes, we need more sunshine! Sorry you’re getting impatient and restless. Big hugs!
Cute and cheery card!
I hope you are soon feeling better! Lovely card and yes, it seems sometimes we have to make our own sunshine. Rehab is pretty daunting. Take care! Hugs!
Hope you’re finding ways to make your own sunshine & wishing you a speedy recovery.
This is a perfectly themed card to what is going on in your life at the moment. It must be daunting to recover from knee surgery!
I wish you a speedy return to use of your knee…in an painfree timeframe as possible!
hugs
Maureen
