i die cut over 100 of these cute Impression Obsession Christmas Icons for my daughter’s not for profit volunteer christmas get together where participants played with paper crafts. apparently, these were a really big hit with some making several for stocking stuffers.

i created a second tag for day 9 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.

Day 9 Designers Heather Meeson & Nichol Spohr made such cute tags with mama elephant’s yeti images; i was inspired by Nichol’s tag with the red accents so i used another of the cuties from the mama elephant ‘wooly winter’ set. i stamped the trees with iced spruce distress ink and painted with red twinkling H2Os.

it’s a new colour challenge for day 9 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.

Day 9 Designers Heather Meeson & Nichol Spohr used mama elephant’s yeti images on their cute tags and Heather’s 3D snowballs are too cute; Nichol’s tag with the red accents inspired me. i stamped all of the images from the adorable mama elephant ‘wooly winter’ set, die cut with coordinating dies and painted with red twinkling H2Os. the background was created with iced spruce distress ink.

i couldn’t resist creating another tag for my favourite: day 4 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.

Day 4 designers Laurel Beard & Sandy Allnock both created tags that to me had a cozy feel. i liked Sandy’s outdoor greenery so that inspired me to create this tag for my daughter; i painted with twinkling H2Os as usual.

i’m rushing now to finish off the last of my tags; this is for day 8 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge which is a sketch challenge.

Day 8 Designers Lisa Adametz & Jill Foster both used a cute penny black critter on their tags, which inspired me to also use a penny black cat. i loved Jill’s pink background so i painted mine with twinkling H2Os; i also liked how Lisa stencilled in some snowflakes so i used a snow embossing folder for mine and sanded it down after painting.

another fun technique for day 12 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.

Day 12 Designers Carly Tee Minner & Kelly Marie Alvarez shared some adorable interactive tags! i was inspired by Carly’s opening door – how fun.

i used one of the dies from the taylored expressions flap stacks – rectangle set for this tag. i stamped the penny black hedgie, coloured with colour pencils, stamped the snow around the border and added extra snow around the hedgie. the sentiment and holly were stamped and coloured on the inside, and i added glossy accents to the berries.

i’ve been sick all week but i finally got around to making a tag for day 1 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge and will have to double up on tags and posts to get them all done by the deadline.

Day 1 Designers were Jennifer McGuire & Jessica Frost-Ballas and they both inspired me; jennifer made a video to show how she created three different 3D tags. i couldn’t seem to capture the depth of the layers on camera but i’m pleased with how mine turned out and it was fun playing with a new technique.

this is the tag i made for day 4 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge and its watercolour theme.

if you know me, you know how much i love to watercolour images, so i was happy to see this technique for day 4 with designers Laurel Beard & Sandy Allnock. i was inspired by Laurel’s tags; i love the cute images she used for her focal point and the variety of colours, some of which i used.

i painted with twinkling H2Os as usual.

i really jumped around this year; here is the tag i made for day 11 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.

Day 11 Designers are Carolyn Peeler & Angie Backman; oh my goodness this was challenging! i struggled with the colour palette, but i was determined although a bit confused because the inspiration photo looked more like pink to me. Being sick all week hasn’t helped; it has affected my concentration.

Angie’s tag inspired me to use a shaped die cut so that’s what i started with – the same sizzix shape die i used for my silver and gold tag. i painted the poinsettias with gray, mint and mauve twinkling H20s and mounted it to a piece of taupe paper and i found a taupe pearl in my stash.

Day 5 Designers are Carissa Wiley & Eloise Blue; i thought Eloise’s tag was too cute! she had a colourful blue sky and an adorable fox looking up at a branch. i painted this stampendous snowman and sky with twinkling H2Os and added plenty of snow.

daniela’s fun and funky tag inspired me and i had a lot of fun with this one; like playing with paper dolls. i painted the sky, penguin and clothes with twinkling H2Os, fussy cut the hat and sweater and added stickles.

i skipped ahead to day 10 to create this tag for the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.

Day 10 tag designers Sharon Harnist & Svitlana Shayevich used such a pretty inspiration graphic for their tags. i was inspired by Svetlana’s tag with the bright blue background and i used the colours of the snowman on the bottom right of the graphic. i painted this sweet Darcie’s snow woman and the sky with twinkling H2Os and added stickles to her snowflake crown; is it bright enough?

i created this tag for day 3 of the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 Challenge.

Day 3 Designers are Julie Ebersole & Brandi Kincaid and it was Brandi’s tag that inspired me; i love the browns she used with the pop of bright green and i feel like it’s a cozy scene.

i used coloured pencils on this older penny black wooden stamp image. i resisted adding glitter, which was a challenge unto itself.
