well it’s the start of a new year and since it’s also the first sunday of the month, it’s time for a new monthly theme at the penny black and more challenge.

we’ve got a very easy theme for you – we’d like you to use something new.

‘bubbly’ is my newest penny black stamp set; it was on my wish list for quite some time so i finally decided to just get it.

i painted everything with twinkling H2Os and i used some new pretty pink posh clear sequins and a new waffle flower celebrate die that i layered a couple of times and slightly offset it on watercolour paper.

it’s easy to play along – your focal point must be hand stamped with any company’s image or large sentiment/quote and a future guest designer will be selected from those who use a PB image. as always, you’ll love the prizes to be won from: Penny Black, Swedish House Crafts and a Tonic die.

i’m working on a number of christmas projects for various people which can be a bit repetitive so i took a break to create this tiny tag just for fun.

this cute little mouse is one of the sweet images in the penny black jolly friends stamp set that i painted with twinkling H2Os and added a bow from the penny black little ornaments die set. i finished it off by adding some glitter for snow and dotted some snow in the sky, also painted with twinks.
