my artist daughter drew this image and is one of four designs purchased by DRS Designs (they added the moon) and made into stamps after halloween last year, so this is the first time i inked it up. of course i’m very proud and it was so nice to stamp and colour something so personal. i watercoloured the tree, distressed the edges, sponged in the background and found this dark mottled scrap of paper to use. thanks for popping by. i’m submitting my card to these challenges:
ooh la la creations – scary stuff
paper playtime – halloween
the corrosive challenge blog – halloween
crazy 4 challenges – halloween

I don’t blame you for being so proud. I would be. A very atmospheric card and thank you for joining us at OLL.

Wow, that is so special that your daughter drew this image. You must be very proud of her. I love how you’ve colored this, and that sponged background looks great with this image. The paper you used for your card is so perfect for this scene, Linda.
Peace and tranquility are the first words that come to mind while looking at this oh-so-beautiful design by your daughter. How wonderful to be inking up your daughter’s that was integrated into the DRS product line. I cant imagine how that must feel, sweet girl. How many of us can do the very same thing. Hugs to the King and Queen.
Great card! thanks for joining the corrosive challenge blog!
