i finally decided to participate in the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. sometimes i spend more time looking than creating, but not today. i used the inspiration photo to create this card. the colours and texture of the flowers inspired me because there are two koi ponds in the entrance to our favourite chinese restaurant.
the fish are peel offs that i watercoloured; i added their bubbles, sponged the edges and popped it onto mesh layered on black card stock. the blue card stock was embossed, lightly sanded and attached to the base, which was wrapped with floss and a charm. i’m also submitting this to the simon says challenge to create a masculine card with a charm – this is for my husband, just because. thanks for popping by.

Lovely! Plus, I thought it was funny because of the episode of The Office where Michael Scott falls into the koi pond. lol.
Great take on the inspiration photo! Nice card!
Beautiful card. Your watercoloring is beautiful, as it always is. I love the sanded look to soften that paper and the embossing to look like more bubbles. Very nice charm also. This is a great male card, Linda. I always have such a hard time with those but you did a fantastic job.
