it’s March?! i was so busy creating hostess samples for splitcoaststampers’ virtual stamp night that February just flew by. anyway, i created this for the penny black saturday challenge – pearls and lace. i’ve seen some very pretty cards using lace, but i seem to have difficulty finding some, so i went with a lacy paper and pearls. i’m also submitting this to the ellephantastic challenge to use distressing on love themed cards. i coloured the image with coloured pencils, distressed the edges with scissors and ink and popped it on foam tape. thanks for popping by.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the rose and of course you’ve colored it beautifully. Really like that background behind the rose … it’s very pretty like that. Your lacey paper is perfect and so is your bow.
