the penny black at allsorts monthly challenge is to create anything but square or rectangle and i love making circle cards. i watercoloured the image, covered the button in glossy accents and kept it fairly simple because i’m giving this one to my husband. for 36 years, he has carried on his family’s long standing tradition of making soft boiled eggs for sunday breakfast. thanks for popping by.

What a super card Linda and the colouring is perfect, the toast looks cooked just how I like it – can’t be doing with it burnt.
Thank you for joining us at Penny Black at Allsorts this month and good luck.

Adorable. Even the card itself looks like pieces of toast. Yum! lol

Adorable! Almost what I had for breakfast, hehe!
WOW – I LOVE how you coloured this. I made a couple of cards with this stamp recently, but your colouring is way better . . . so soft and muted and great contrast of light and shade!
Fab shape too. Good luck.

This is so sweet Linda. I love that image and the soft colors you’ve used. The sentiment is so perfect and I love the round shape. Very pretty ribbon and flower too. Maybe your hubby could give mine some cooking lessons?
I love the soft colouring on your card and the colour combination works so well.
I could just eat those eggs and toast right now!!
Thank you for sharing your lovely card with us at Penny Black at Allsorts and we hope you will join us again next month.
