The Beauty Of Winter

blue greeting card featuring red cardinal in tree branches and snowflakes
i created this card for the flourishes december bring back beautiful challenge and for my dad, who turns 87 next week. we don’t have any snow yet, so i enjoyed creating this wintery scene, but it’s so dull today that the extra lighting i used makes the glitter paper look silver instead of gold. anyway, thanks for popping by.

  1. Oh Ms. Linda, what a beautiful winter card! I love the snowflakes surrounding the cardinal! Oh such a wonderful card. How wonderful to have your dad have an 87th birthday. This is a great card. Hugs, Anne

  2. Love, love, love your glittery cardinal card! You are not missing the snow, are ya? Ours is melting away – fast. :) It was nice to have during Christmas but it’s okay for it to go.
How are you coping this holiday season? Hope you and yours are okay!

  3. Gorgeous. It’s unique, wintery and special. I love the snow effect, and how the gold and glitter just brightens it up.

  4. A beautiful card. I love the blue/red combo and the sparkle is so pretty. Beautifully colored as always. I hope your father has a wonderful birthday.
