It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

well it is if you don’t think about the heat or season. this cute penny black image was a birthday gift from a friend last year – thanks anne! i coloured it with distress ink pads, die cut it and sponged around the edges before i popped it on foam tape. i made the poinsettia with my dies, gathered some ribbon and added stickles to the berries. i followed a sketch from Cardmaps Today – Vol. 2 and i’m submitting this to the scrapbooker’s paradise blog challenge to add texture and the jingle belles challenge which is all about music. thanks for popping by.

  1. Hello Linda,
This makes me smile, I am not a card maker, I do think about Christmas cards every year…in November….
Awesome that you are so organized and talented.
Thanks for Playing in Paradise with us.
    Pam

  2. that little music mouse is just TOO TOTALLY ADORABLE and you’ve colored him (or her?!) absolutely perfectly! great card for our “fa-la-la” music challenge at jingle belles! ♥

  3. I’m with Pam – and I am a cardmaker! – but I never get going on them until later in the year ;) lol!
I love that sweet image – you’ve coloured it beautifully! – and I want to touch the poinsettia & pleated ribbon. I’d say that’s successful texture! Thanks so much for playing in Paradise with us :)
