welcome to my new followers; thanks for taking an interest in what i create.
i’ve been playing along with magenta’s 20th anniversary monthly challenges this year; some of them have been quite challenging and this month is one of those – make a creation with twenty embellishments. it took me a while to come up with an idea, but i used 20 seed beads on the magenta holly image that i coloured with coloured pencils. i followed this tutorial on the magenta blog to make this bottle tag.
i’m also submitting it to these challenges:
jingle belles – anything (holidays) goes ends dec 21
holly jolly christmas – vintage christmas ends dec 23
unique crafters – all about christmas ends dec 31
sweet stampin’ christmas – anything goes ends jan 6
thanks for popping by.
WOW – this is so vintage-looking and delightful Linda. Great idea . . . I spy with my little eye . . . MAPLE SYRUP behind the bottle tag! Yummy! xxx
Gorgeous tag! I love the aged effect. So authentic!
Looks great!
I cheated yesterday & bought bottle tags!
Shame on me!
So pretty!! and I agree, very vintage looking!
Very chic & vintage. Love holly on anything, and the seed beads were an inspired dimensional touch. Love this one …Merry Christmas
Really beautiful Linda. Love the use of kraft card stock. Enjoy your weekend and your holidays!!
Fabulous project. Great design. Thank you for joining us at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges and I hope you will join us in 2103.
Very vintage, love it. Well done on thinking outside the box on the 20 embellies too.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

What a great idea for the maple syrup! DH used to travel to Ottawa, Montreal and Hamilton regularly. He would bring me back maple syrup for us, my two daughters, my parents and his family. That was one heavy suitcase I miss that yummy syrup. We buy it here at Costco but it is not the same!
Your topper is just so lovely. It would make a great syrup or wine topper! My mind is racing now thinking of other options. Would look great on the flavoured coffee syrups at Starbucks…I noticed they were selling them for only 10 dollars! Great hostess gift ideas for next year that you have given me with this post!!!
Beautiful creation, thank you for joining us at Christmas at Sweet Stampin’
