Christmas Cards All Year Round – Guest Designer

i’d like to thank tracey for inviting me to be a guest designer this month at the christmas cards all year round challenge. for this month’s theme of sparkle and bling, i created three cards with glitter, although it doesn’t show as well in daylight. this first card is 3 x 6 and i die cut the ornaments from glitter paper and changed the colour of holographic peel offs with a permanent marker; the base is copper shimmer card stock.

i added stickles to the edge of the top die cut layer, the leaves and poinsettia. the base is also cut with shimmer card stock.

i used stickles again on this card for santa’s coat and hat trim, the snow in the image, the die cut snowflakes and even the bunny tails; everything is coloured with distress ink pads and a brush.

  1. Ms. Linda, …WOW… And what a guest designer you are for this Christmas challenge! Your cards are exquisite and incredible attention to details.

  2. They’re all gorgeous! And I love how Christmassy they all look, and how adorable the bunnies are.

  3. All three are beautiful with all the glitter, but the 2nd is my favourite, just love that flower! Great to be getting Christmas cards already! Have a great weekend, Shirleyx

  4. Congratulations on being a guest designer. These 3 cards are awesome…I’d have to say…my fav is the 1st one. But it WAS a hard pick…. All 3 are lovely, and I’m awed by your w/coloring with the DI. It’s fabulous. TFS
