when i saw the jingle belles prompt to make cards featuring inchies or twinchies, i realized just how challenging this was and it has taken me almost two weeks to come up with something and the deadline is only hours away. the penny black chick was die cut into an inchie, matted and framed with a twinchie and watercoloured with twinkling H2Os. i added stickles to the hat, embossed and sanded the border and lines and added a hand-tied bow; silly me, i thought it would be faster than my bow tool. thanks for popping by.

P.S. You won my Blog-Candy ;-)
an inchie matted by a twinchie??! holy mackeral, for someone who felt challenged by this fortnight’s JINGLE BELLES prompt, you certainly did hit the creative ball right out of the park! love the chick…love the embossed border… and of course the ribbon is the icing on the cake! well done, missus! LOVE it!
. . . but you did it . . . and it’s GREAT! Very tweet! xxx
This is simply adorable! Don’t ya love a challenge? Love the embossing at the bottom!
Love this cutie bird. I’m guessing the twinchie must be the mat for the inchie? That’s a new term for me. This is adorable. As ever. TFS
A birdie in a holiday hat … how stinkin’ cute … so glad you joined our *tiny* fun at jingle belles.
There has been a sudden interest in inchies in my stamp group, with a request for samples and ideas. I really like this card. I find inchies and twinchies impossible but you rocked it here!
The inchie/twinchie looks really effective Linda and you chose a prefect colour card base to carry the colour.
