as promised, it’s time to share the details about the exciting penny black and more challenge october candy event.

This is my DT card; I watercoloured this cute image from the penny black holly day critters clear set, popped it on foam squares and added the memory box jingle bell die.

  9. This card is adorable. I really like your jingle bell banner. How did you get so much dimension in them? It looks like they are raised. Thank you for sharing your artwork!

    • hi becca, i used a large stylus and a mouse pad to create the dimension and then just used a glue pen to dot the ‘hanger’ above each bell to attach to the card.

  13. What a beautiful card! I love your watercolouring technique, so awesome. I noticed that you favour bright colours on your cards, I love them all too as they set a happy tone.

    • hi sandi, i just used a white gel pen (uni-ball signo) and made different sized circles for snow by doodling; the more random, the better.
