i’ve been seeing so many adorable bunny images but i’d like to raise awareness that chocolate bunnies are more appropriate to give for easter than real bunnies; i support the make mine chocolate campaign.
bunnies are precious and until my daughter adopted two of my furry grand bunnies, i never knew how sweet and smart they were. unfortunately, real bunnies are given as easter presents only to be returned to shelters or worse because it was an impulse buy without any thought about their care and long term commitment.
i painted this cute inky antics image with twinkling H2Os and popped on foam tape to an embossed brick background using a taylored expressions embossing folder.
i’m playing along with these challenges:
As You Like It: Favourite Easter Character (&why): bunnies! after getting to know my two grand bunnies, i realize how cute, sweet and smart they are.

An adorable card. Super image. Thanks for joining AYLI challenge. Elaine
When I saw this, I said AWWWWW out loud. It is way too cute!!!!!! Thanks for raising awareness about how bunnies need proper consideration and care when they are adopted!
Love what the dry embossing adds to your card design! Nice to see you over at Paper Girls.
Totally agree on the gifting of a bunny at Easter Linda, unfortunately lots of animals are bought without regard to how big they will get or how hard it is to take care of them only to be abandoned. Drives me crazy when people do that. Make mine chocolate too!!! Love the cute bunny card, as always you have done a superb job! Hugs, Brenda
Super cute card ! Bunny and little yellow feather ( chick ? ) are c-u-t-e. I can’t get over the design of your card every time. To me, there is a balance between colour, texture, space and focal point. Love it !!! P.S. : Bunnies are very cute but wild and they have a weakness with their stomach. I lost my first rabbit overnight and I have another miniature rabbit for over a year. She is very suspicious of me and bites me but I will care for her until the end. Owning pets is a responsibility ; ) not for everybody.
A sweet card with delicate colours, I love the brick embossing as a nice backdrop to your bunny, adds real texture in a subtle way x
Chocolate bunnies are wonderful, but his little guy is the sweetest! Love the soft pastel colors and the embossed background!
What a sweet card Linda and loving the pretty colors you used! My daughter has been wanting a bunny for a long time, but as you can imagine we can’t get one having two cats which I don’t plan on getting rid of anytime soon (meaning ever!). It’s sad that some people see pets as only temporary, they are a big commitment no matter how small!
Thanks so much for playing along this month at my Crafty Wednesday challenge!
