12 Tags Of Christmas 2020 Day 7

I’m up to Day 7 of Ellen Hutson’s Twelve Tags of Christmas 2020 Challenge

December 7 – A Marshmallow World with Heather Meeson. I love the red and white striped snowman hat and scarf on Heather’s tag and that’s what inspired me. I used the Inky Antics marshmallow friends image, painted with twinkling H2Os on Arches hot press watercolour paper and added glossy accents to the straw and red stripes – not exactly arthritis friendly so it’s a bit wobbly. to finish it off, I fussy cut, and attached it to some doodlebug paper on foam tape and added a green bow. the sentiment is from the same set.

Guest Designing For Addicted To Stamps

i’m excited to be guest designing for the Addicted To Stamps Challenge and i had a lot of fun creating this card.

bumbly bees copyright linda snailzpace.com-1

the theme for the current challenge is black and white plus one other colour, not counting skin and hair.

i painted this cute inky antics image from the bumbly bees set with twinkling H2Os on hot pressed watercolour paper and stamped one of the sentiments from the same set. i added clear wink of stella to her wings, a MFT daisy, and yellow stickles on her anklet and sandals. all the papers are from doodlebug.

be sure to pop over to the blog to see the lovely creations from the design team.

Make Mine Chocolate Too!

i’ve been seeing so many adorable bunny images but i’d like to raise awareness that chocolate bunnies are more appropriate to give for easter than real bunnies; i support the make mine chocolate campaign.

bunnies are precious and until my daughter adopted two of my furry grand bunnies, i never knew how sweet and smart they were. unfortunately, real bunnies are given as easter presents only to be returned to shelters or worse because it was an impulse buy without any thought about their care and long term commitment.

i painted this cute inky antics image with twinkling H2Os and popped on foam tape to an embossed brick background using a taylored expressions embossing folder.

i’m playing along with these challenges:

As You Like It: Favourite Easter Character (&why): bunnies! after getting to know my two grand bunnies, i realize how cute, sweet and smart they are.

Krafty Christmas Bird

can you tell i’ve been enjoying colouring on kraft? takes me back to my childhood when i would colour for hours with coloured pencils.

today i coloured this cute image from inky antics, ornament birdy, with inktense pencils. i added stickles to the stripes and pom poms on the hat, glossy accents to the ornament and beak and black enamel dots to the eyes. another clean and simple card to add to my stash and a style that suits me when i’m short on time and energy.

i’d like to submit this card to these challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks W #322 Colouring on Kraft
Jingle Belles Holiday Cards with Animals
ABC Christmas Challenge – V is for Vertical
Simon Says Stamp – – Anything Goes

i watercoloured this cute inky antics image with twinkling H2Os, added glossy accents to the ornaments and white flocking to the pom pom; to finish it off, i layered the wplus9 die cut merry sentiment.

the challenge runs until the last day of the month; visit scrappymo’s blog to view the rest of the team’s inspiring cards and the challenge rules.

12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2015 Day 10

i made up for lost time yesterday and created a tag for day 10 of the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2015 Challenge.

my tag is a literal interpretation of the sketch and was inspired by Kelly Alvarez’s tag; i like how she created a scene inside the circle so i did that too, but with a setting sun. i used lawn fawn dies and white glitter card stock for the trees and mini snowflakes and coloured with distress inks.

the sentiment is an inky antics stamp. thanks for popping by.

The Bee’s Knees

inkyanticsbumblebee
i made most of this card on sunday, but i wasn’t able to finish it, take a photo or type until now because of a severe RA flareup that i’m still recuperating from. i’ll probably slow down a little bit, if it’s even possible to go slower, but it’s so difficult not to create; i fell behind in everything again and hope to stop by soon and get caught up on some commenting.

anyway, i’m playing along with the sketch n stash challenge with the option of wings – items from my stash include one and a half year old stamps and papers, four year old punches and brand new memory box precious heart dies. i coloured with distress inks and used plenty of stickles.

i’m also submitting this card to these challenges:
try it on tuesday challenge – feminine and fancy theme
one crazy stamper – flowers
whimsy inspirations challenge – anything goes
natalie and amy’s – things with wings

In The Dog House

card with penny black dog house image and inky antics sentiment
the current challenge at the paper and such design blog is to make a card featuring a snail or dog. i’ve made many snail cards, so this time i used a cute penny black dog stamp that was a gift from my friend, anne. everything is coloured with distress ink pads and the sentiment is inky antics. thanks for popping by.

Triangle Treat Boxes

i love making triangle treat boxes – they’re so quick and easy and perfect for any occasion! i was quite surprised to see some i made mentioned on the inky antics blog here on tuesday – look at the variety crafters made! there’s another one posted today- check out this adorable graduation treat box here. inky antics has a triangle box template stamp and clear stamp sets to match; if you need any more incentive to visit, there’s an inky antics blog hop featuring action wobbles – fun and interactive! thanks for popping by.

One Crazy Stamper Guest Post – Buzzing By

Card with Inky Antics Bumbly Bee
this is my final card for my guest designer spot at One Crazy Stamper. this little cutie is from the same inky antics bumbly bees clear set that i used on this card. i coloured with distress inks, used my favourite marianne creatables flourish leaf die and finished it off with a sentiment from the same set, a ribbon and bow. i’d like to thank lora, one crazy stamper owner for this fun opportunity and jacilynn, for being a great DT Coordinator and for all the kind words. thanks for popping by.

One Crazy Stamper Guest Designer – May

i am so excited to be a guest designer for one crazy stamper, a canadian store that is both bricks and mortar and online – you’ll love the customer service and very fast shipping! this is my card for this month’s mother’s theme; this little cutie is an inky antics image from OCS that i coloured with distress inks, covered her wings in stickles and added a vellum flower and bow. check out the OCS blog for some lovely inspirational cards; you have a month to join in! thanks for popping by.
