The Bee’s Knees

inkyanticsbumblebee
i made most of this card on sunday, but i wasn’t able to finish it, take a photo or type until now because of a severe RA flareup that i’m still recuperating from. i’ll probably slow down a little bit, if it’s even possible to go slower, but it’s so difficult not to create; i fell behind in everything again and hope to stop by soon and get caught up on some commenting.

anyway, i’m playing along with the sketch n stash challenge with the option of wings – items from my stash include one and a half year old stamps and papers, four year old punches and brand new memory box precious heart dies. i coloured with distress inks and used plenty of stickles.

i’m also submitting this card to these challenges:
try it on tuesday challenge – feminine and fancy theme
one crazy stamper – flowers
whimsy inspirations challenge – anything goes
natalie and amy’s – things with wings

thanks for popping by.

  1. It’s pretty and whimsical and summery. I love the colours and the hanging hearts.
Glad you’re starting to be on the mend now. It must be so frustrating to be blocked from what you love to do!
    xoxo

  2. Oh my, sure hope you feel better soon. I have another friend, who has lupus & RA, and is having a flare up as well. I am so awed that even with this miserable stuff, you can still be motivated to even craft at all. This is a lovely & delightful card. Your DI watercolors always leave me speechless…so pretty & lovely shading & such softness. Feel better soon. Hugs

  3. Wondered where you’d got to Linda . . . but guessed the reason. Really hope you feel better very soon. Sending virtual hugs your way, Love Sarn xxx

  5. Please do not worry about getting round to visit me…I would rather you took it easy and eased back out of your RA flare. I am never the type who keeps count as life is always evolving…I travel, go to the lake etc and don’t always have internet connection.
I have dish and osteo arthritis and know too weel what pain is like. Take it easy girl and if I see a lovley card like this on your blog I will know that means you had a couple of hours to create…doesn’t mean you are better and ready to do a circuit of visits!!!
I always so enjoy your cards and don’t always comment myself…as I have bad days too!
