Spring Is Almost Here!

the days are getting longer and spring is almost here; that’s what i’m wishing anyway.  this week’s flower soft challenge is ‘in the garden,’ so i watercoloured this floral image, added gold flower soft to the flower centres and popped it on an embossed piece of card stock that was distressed around the edges. the embossing folder and gold ribbon are part of a christmas gift from my friend, anne ryan – thanks anne!  i added the gold pearls to the ribbon and it was done – a quick and easy card. thanks for popping by.

  2. Oh, Linda, this is absolutely stunning. Your watercolored flowers are beautiful and I love the embossed c/s with the distressing. The ribbon and pearls are so pretty too. I am also very anxious for spring … we have had a very cold winter and I’m ready for some nicer weather.

  3. Wow Linda – these flowers are breathtaking!! Love the flowersoft in the flower centres and love the background embossing – the way you have distressed the edges looks gorgeous.

    We are going into Autumn already where I live – even though it is technically still the last month of Summer which is usually the hottest and driest month of the year with hot northerly winds. Yet, we have had cold nights and mild days and tons of rain – and there is that “Autumn” feel in the air – you can almost taste it! :-)
