Skies Of Blue

round scallop card in blue and lavender with hydrangeasthis week’s penny black saturday challenge is fussy and fancy, so this what i fussed over all morning. i watercoloured the image, covered it in glossy accents and stamped the penny black text background over it. i sponged the edge of the die cut image, the round doily and die cut a second doily. i made tiny faux dew drops out of bits of paper and glossy accents, used the bow-easy and added a button to the bow. the inside is actually finished as well.

i’m also submitting this to the splitcoaststampers’ monthly fan club theme.  thanks for popping by.

  1. Wow, Linda, this is so delicate! Such a talent to be able to make paint and paper come together so exquisitely. Hope you are well. Hugs, Anne

  2. This is beautiful Linda. That flower looks so gorgeous and I love the glossy accents. I love that you made your own dew drops … I may have to give that one a try. Very pretty shape to this card and the doilies add such a delicate look.
