Pink, Pearly And Swirly

card with white daisies on a pink background with lace and pearls and two tiny butterflies
it’s the first sunday of the month and time for a new challenge at penny black and more; this month’s theme is ‘pink, pearly and swirly.’ for my DT card i embossed the floral image (PB flowers sweet 30-096) on a pink background created with distress ink pads on watercolour paper and painted the flowers with liquid pearls. you can see the rest of the design team’s beautiful cards on the blog, along with the easy challenge rules – use any company’s stamped image as the focal point (no digis are allowed) to be in for a chance to win some fabulous prizes from sponsors Penny Black, Stampalot, Crafts U Love, Flonz. you’ll also have a chance to be a guest designer if you put GD after your name. hope you play along!  i’m also submitting this to the addicted to stamps challenge, which has a theme of pearls and swirls. thanks for popping by.

  1. I wondered what you had used on the flowers Linda and have to say they look stunning and your whole card so pretty and delicate.

  2. I forgot!
I had a heck of a time getting here!!!
I got the email, and it didn’t matter what I did, I just got your sidebar, or just your blogroll!
I finally clicked on your ‘name’ and here I am!

  3. Hi Linda,
Shock horror i’m managing to comment. If I refresh, the box appears for a couple of seconds and if I click in it really quickly I can write a comment. I love your creation, so pretty.
    Happy crafting
