Shades Of Green

card in green with flowers and wishing you many lovely tomorrows sentiment
welcome to my newest follower and thank you for taking an interest in what i do! i created this card for the impression obsession challenge of shades of green. i don’t usually put sentiments on the fronts of my cards – they’re crooked (stamp positioner won’t work with curved blocks), they smudge because of my hands and uneven pressure or they just don’t fit in. this impression obsession stamp, #C8559, is so pretty that i wanted it to be the focal point. after i die cut the flowers, i sponged the edges with shabby shutters distress ink and added some stickles and punched leaves. thanks for popping by.

  1. This is so pretty, Ms. Linda. I love green and the dsp you used is wonderful. what a perfect balance between different elements found in nature. Like your sentiment too.

  2. Beautiful Linda, I love how you’ve highlighted the quote and your green background is elegant. I didn’t get it together for this challenge, hopefully the next one ! Shirleyx

  3. This is so very beautiful! I just got the I.O. Cover a Card stamp Shamrocks at the recent stamp show. That stamp would make such a lovely card in the way you have done here…with that soft delicate green. I have a couple St. Pat’s cards I must do. Your flowers are so pretty & are perfect with your sentiment. TFS

  4. Talk about lovely, Linda@!!!! Wow! I love everything you did for your beautiful sentiment!!! The whole card looks pretty perfect to me! Thanks for playing and good luck in the drawing too!

  5. Beautiful green card! I love your oval window and your flowers are beautiful, love the sparkle. A very elegant card! Thanks for sharing.
