impression obsession had a blog hop last week featuring their dies and i was lucky enough to be a random winner of three dies of my choice, which was tough after visiting the designers’ blogs – there are so many enablers out there. :)
anyway, i made this for the current ‘all about the dies’ IO challenge. i probably would’ve coloured this leaf from the IO leaf die set (DIE030-S) with distress inks, and i actually have a pile die cut and ready to do that for fall, but i was inspired by daniela dobson’s card and her designer paper leaves. after die cutting my teal leaf, the edges were painted with twinkling H2Os and sponged with distress ink (just had to get inky with them). i stamped the bookmark with IO take time (D5512), created a pocket for it and attached the leaf to the striped paper. thanks for popping by.
Awesome colours and sentiment! It’s very autumnal.
Hmmmm, I thought you weren’t feeling well!?
This is great, and congratulations on the win!
Well done on the win Linda and such a lovely feel to your card using the dies, the colours of the leaf picks out that stripe in the paper beautifully.
Wow! Linda, that is just so lovely! What a great color for your leaf too. It just pops with your DP and cardstock. Very pretty! Thanks for joining in the fun and good luck in the drawing too!!
Amazingly beautiful. Those IO dies perform as well as the MBox dies..IMHO. You did a stunning job on this one, and big congratulations on your lovely win. Love the stripes with the teals…so very pretty. TFS
Such a beautiful creation Linda. I love the sentiment, and the card is so beautifully put together!
Fabulous…you picked a great die…love the verse!
