Springtime Fun

card with bunny planting carrots and sentiment with oh happy day!
i’m playing along with the ‘springtime fun’ challenge at impression obsession; i thought this gardening bunny having fun in his carrot garden suited the theme – i’m still trying to decide if he’s planting or digging up. i coloured the image, Easter Bunny CL212, with distress ink pads and added a sentiment from Mini Messages MC176. thanks for popping by.

  1. Linda, that is just too adorable for words!! I really like your colors. They are so yummy and remind of Spring and sherbert at the same time!! Thanks for playing and good luck in the drawing too!

  2. haha Oh that’s so cute. You’ve got the perfect carrot-orange colour, and I like his little tail.

  3. This is just adorable. Love that lil’ bunny & his carrots. Your colors are so bright & sunny, just right for a gardening bunny. (no pun intended!). TFS

  4. Hi Linda, your card is adorable and so pretty. I think the bunny is digging up carrots. We have them hanging around our backyard and they like to eat in my gardens, I’ve never seen them plant anything back for me:)

  5. Love this bright, fun and cute card! Very spring-like. I have that stamp in a clear set…but have never used him on a card. I always thought that little bunny was cute. I guess if the carrots have grown then he is digging them up. My mom has grown them before, they are kind of a ‘pain in the butt’ to grow and get out of the ground. Great card! Oh, and your coloring is beautiful, that was the first thing I noticed, great job! Thanks for sharing.

  6. Grest colouring up of such a cute little guy. What a great image!

You have certainly set the stage for spring…I am just in from a couple of hours working with DH in the garden…him digging, me dividing the perennials and potting them on. We are almost finished one side of the garden…Yay…they have needed done for 2 years now!!!
