Penny Black And More August – In The Garden

pennyblackpicnic
it’s the first sunday of the month and time for a new theme at the penny black and more challenge; this month we’d like to see ‘in the garden’ creations. i coloured this penny black ‘break for cake’ image with distress ink pads and die cut the sentiment from the ‘in the garden’ clear set. i made my own flowers again with dies and punches and used my memory box ribbon slide die and added stickles to it.

i’d love for you to play along and remember – you can use any company’s images as your focal point, just no digis please. for some fabulous prizes and inspiration from the rest of the design team, visit the challenge blog here.

i’d also like to submit this card to these challenges:
one crazy stamper – birthday
a little bit crafty – summer sun
just for fun – anything goes
penny black – beat the heat
Birthday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World – birthday
seize the birthday – anything goes birthday linky party

thanks for popping by.

  8. Linda, I had trouble following your ‘name link’ as your comment came into my email. (which is usually how I pop back over to visit). I was able to find your link at PB&More, and that worked for me. If I follow the email name link, it tells me that it looks like I have not been invited to comment or somesuch. Not sure if this is part of the tech difficulties you are experiencing. Or if it has something to do with the ‘circles’ thing on google, which I can’t get to those folks either!!! Going to try to participate in the PB&M this week as I have something that fits the theme. Thanks for visiting. Hugs

  9. Hi Linda, oh how sweet this is. The papers and coloring are so beautifully matched. I’ve just now realized how each of your cards are so different. You employ a myriad of designs, but your exquisite coloring is always unequivocally amazing. Hugs.

  10. Such a pretty card. Love the purple and that happy cat! I might try this challenge too, I have some Penny Black ‘garden’ stamps I could use. Thanks for the inspiration. Love your pretty ribbon slide too. Thanks for sharing.
