i was commissioned to make a card for someone who saw my pink calla lilies card and wanted something similar but in different colours. the hydrangea is in the same stamp-it australia set as the calla lilies and available at crafter’s companion; they stamp beautifully and i love the detailed thin lines. i watercoloured the image with twinkling H2Os, added stickles to the centres and die cut the embellishments out of gold mirri.
i’d like to submit this card to these challenges:
city crafter – #181 give thanks
cards galore – flowers
stampin’ for the weekend – anything goes
one crazy stamper – thankful/autumn
thanks for popping by.
Simply lovely..it is so life-like. The gold butterfly sets off the image so beautifully. I hope this will post.Lately I’m having trouble leaving comments here. TFS
Such pretty colours, realistic colouring, and wonderful embellies! Awesome card!
Wow, Ms. Linda, I cant remember the last time you’ve used gold. It pairs beautifully with your TH20s. Your client will not be disappointed with your creation. Thanks for the email. Hugs and love
