Baby Hedgie – Penny Black And More

it’s the first sunday of the month and the penny black and more challenge theme for may is punches and dies!

i watercoloured this baby hedgie image from the penny black bundle of joy clear set with twinkling H2Os and winsor & newton watercolour paints. the onesie is a memory box die that i cut apart to pop on foam tape; i made the buttons with a circle die.

to play along, remember, you can use any company’s stamp for your focal point, just no digis please; a future guest designer will be selected from those who use a PB image and as always, there are some fabulous sponsors offering stamps/dies/gift certificates as prizes. i hope you’ll come and play along. visit the blog for some inspirational creations by my talented teamies.

i’d like to submit this card to these challenges:
the ABC challenge – i is for inspire us, show us your style: my style is to showcase watercoloured images with pretty papers and minimal embellishments
my time to craft – new baby
Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps! challenge 278 a baby shower

  2. This is precious in the pink and brown. I love that sweet little baby onesie (as we call them). OMGosh, this can bring a smile to everyone. It’s that adorable. Hugs. Anne

  3. What a fun card! I have never seen a baby shower card like this one. The addition of the ruler reminds the reader/recipient that we all want to know how much the baby weighs and how long/tall it is/was at birth. Cute detail!
