i’m back with a reminder that you still have plenty of time to play along with this month’s autumn colours theme at the penny black and more challenge. i made another halloween card; it’s one of the few times of the year that i use orange, my least favourite colour. :)
i watercoloured the sky and this cute little hedgie from the penny black ‘scary halloween’ clear stamp set with twinkling H2Os and matted it on a die cut white stitched circle, sponged with seedless preserves distress ink. the image is popped on foam tape against the textured orange cardstock, embossed with the darice fall leaf embossing folder. the sentiment is from the ‘trick or treat’ set.

This is so very sweet! Just how I love Halloween stamps (and also Halloween decorations, costumes etc.) not scary but cute! Love the embossing and fun colors!

I’m not keen on orange either, so when I got my latest little marianne fox die and discovered he only looks any good in orange I had a problem! Only got scraps of orange card so need to get some now.
I love this card it is so sweet and the colours are perfect, and now I NEED that embossing folder.
