it’s the first sunday of a new month so it’s time for a new theme at the penny black and more challenge.
this was very challenging for me since i usually activate my twinkling H2Os to have a colourful palette ready to paint with. i thought the kitty from the penny black ‘bubbly’ set would be a good starting point with the black and white; i used three different pink twinks and added some clear wink of stella to the balloons, some pink sequins, striped washi tape and finally, i stamped the sentiment onto a flower die.
it’s so easy to play along! your focal point must be hand stamped to be eligible for one of the fabulous prizes from this month’s sponsors: Penny Black, Sizzix and Woodware; a future guest designer will be selected from those who use a PB image.

thanks for popping by.
I love pink with black and white Linda, makes for such a striking card and this one is so bright and welcoming.
Found you review of the CE sponges interesting as well, I dabbled with buying some a few weeks ago for the very same reason as you. The shape of them suggests they make blending easier so pleased that you have confirmed this to be the case, will be ordering some.
Happy Easter.
