in response to the current impression obsession challenge question, my one and only hobby is card making, specifically, stamping and colouring. severe RA (rheumatoid arthritis) forced me to give up all of my creative outlets until i discovered i could stamp and colour, which is my favourite technique. i love colouring with a traditional paint brush and anything dye based, especially distress inks, which is how i coloured this impression obsession Butterfly Group F8123 stamp. thanks for popping by.

Beautiful! I love the colours and the sparkly accents on the wings and in the centre of the flower. You have a wonderful hobby. It’s fun, and you always make lovely creations.
Lovely, as always! Your butterflies are so delicately colored, and after trying to work with DI as watercolor, I’m even more impressed at your expert touch. The background paper is so perfect with the image colors & matting. Thanks for sharing yet another work of art!
Gorgeous! Your colouring is so soft and pretty on this card. I love the bit of sparkle on their wings!
You do amazingly well for someone with RA. I know it is not easy and that you must good and bad days…I’m sorry that you have to deal with this horrible illness.
This card is really beautiful. I mean it. It has an emotion to it. It is someplace I’d like to be. Would you share the ink colors? Thanks.
thanks susan. the DI i used are: broken china, peeled paint, picked raspberry and wild honey.
Wow, Linda, this is just so lovely! The colors are so soft and feminine and so coordinated. That flower is the perfect embellishment too!! Thank you so much for playing and good luck in the drawing too!!!
So pretty!
. . . and you make SUCH a good job of it too Linda. I always love your work. Your watercolouring with DI is so professional and gives a wonderful look to your cards. xxx
This is so beautifully done ! I love the distress ink watercolouring, and how the patterned paper matches so well. It’s just lovely!
What a stunning creation Linda. I love the pretty colors you used, sparkle looks amazing! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Beautiful card with the delicate colours. Your painting with the Distress Inks is fabulous, love it ! Take care, Shirleyx
Ms Linda, how wonderful to see such a delicate card today! My hobby has become watching what you create! I’ve made a hobby out of just admiring your soft and lovely coloring. I have another hobby almost as equally as important as the first: wishing one day I would wake up and take up a brush and ink the same way Linda does! When that day arrives, please dont bother me; I’ll be rummaging through all the hundreds of creations of yours that have caught my attention! Happy Sunday. Keep on keeping on with your hobby ~ it’s a delight to all of us. Hugs
Absolutely beautiful Linda. As always, your coloring is soft and beautiful. I hope you’ve been well :)
