Spring Flowers

spring seems to be taking so long to arrive this year. in the meantime, i can create with spring flowers; this is another card i made for our march penny black and more challenge theme of blossoms and bows.

i used another image from the penny black clear stamp set chick to chick; they’re adorable and perfect for spring and easter.

penny black flowers

i water coloured with twinkling H2Os and winsor & newton watercolour paints.

remember, you can use any company’s stamp for your focal point, just no digis please; a future guest designer will be selected from those who use a PB image and as always, there are some fabulous prizes to be won so i hope you’ll come and play along. visit the blog for some fabulous creations by my teamies.

i’d like to submit this card to these challenges:

  1. Spring is slow here as well Linda, one day it looks promising then we go back to dull days. But your card is beautifully fresh and bright with the hope of warmers days to come.

  2. Wonderful, just wonderful, Ms. Linda. Your darling card is surely a reminder that Spring will eventually get here and not soon enough. Incredible coloring.

  3. Gosh Linda, this is so soft and pretty. That image is lovely and your colours and design look wonderful.

  4. A cheerful, spring-y wheel-barrow of flowers! Exactly what I need to see on this snow-flakey day! So delightful! Thank you for sharing in the ATSM gallery!
