Gilded Leaves

happy thanksgiving to my american friends. i love using gilding flakes for leaves, even if they are a bit delicate to work with; no sneezing near this stuff.

i die cut the paper smooches foliage 1 leaves from black glossy paper, added the flakes and attached the panel to a sheet of memory box autumn themed paper bought years ago. the memory box a little thanks was also die cut from the black glossy paper.

i’m playing along with these challenges:

Paper Smooches – Fall
Memory Box – Thank You cards
The Rubber Buggy – Challenge #6 Theme: Thanksgiving, Thank You, Blessed, Grateful

  1. Thanks Linda! It was a nice Thanksgiving this year. I love, love, love your beautiful card. I also love gilding flakes, they are touchy, but the outcome is so worth it! Hugs, Brenda

  2. I love cards made with the gilding flakes and struggle working with the gilding flakes. Love how your leaves coordinate so well with the patterned paper. Thank you for sharing your beautiful card with us at The Rubber Buggy Challenge and can’t wait to see your next beautiful card or project with us soon. Hugs Nancy Hill, Design Team for The Rubber Buggy
